Month of July

Ok, so after Many days of laziness am going to put in last months highlights in one post. Got news of new dance taking place in Aug. So went to Khushboo's place. Met new people, talked about different cultures, had sarson ka bhel ( me yuck, shub loved ) . Always nice to meet new people. That weekend we went shopping for Summer clothes and got a good deal for 7 / 100 hehehe. So I was happy. The same day early morning I saw an ad on TV for a furtniture shop called the Dump. Went there on a lark and looked at around 20 - 30 sofas before sitting on one. As always hard to get Shub to concentrate with his mind wandering to other nice things and not noticing the price on each , but finally when we sat on the ONE , shub's words were " We found our sweet spot ! " and we Had . Bought it then and there , went to home depot and rented a truck. It was so much fun riding in it and Shub was a pro at driving it. The people loaded it. I closed my ears at it's Beep Beep sound causing other's to laugh. Shub said, I could help him take the couch to the apt and I so believed him. Hahaha, but unloaded and took it 4-5 feet and then poof ! I was done. Called Cedric and then they took it up to the apt. Cedrick loved the couch too and then the guys had a beer and we sat around talking and then at night enjoyed sitting on the sofa and having pizza. The sofa was just perfect , the way we'd wanted. Soft bottom , good back support and within 600. And it just merged into the carpet, making the hall look even bigger. Touch wood. Our first sofa together was wonderful. Had breakfast on the mattress under the window , went for work out and came back and chillaxed.I wore my new top and shoes and went roaming around. Had lunch and then went to watch Transformers, which was a good movie. The unity displayed really moved me. The faith people show in each othe rwas incredible too. The robots and action wasn't bad either. :))

The next weekend, Friday went with Shub to office. Sat in Starbucks and had a coffee while reading Sister's Keeper. Then we went for Irish food and had a nice drive around. That evening, we went to Cedrick and emy's for dinner which was pretty good as usual. The next morning, decided impromptu to go to Kings Dominion with Cedrick and Emy and little Danny. Their tire had a flat so picked them up and went to KD. Had a fantabulous time in the lazy pool. Then went for the wave pool where I thought I'd lost my earring and that had me really down. Then we had Funnel cake with and without icecream and strawberries. After that we went for the Huge Boat ride. Himmat karke I went up with Cedrick and SHubham and freaked out by the time I reached the top, even though I kept telling cedrick not to talk bout the height as it would freak me out ... Yet made it down and it was pretty fun though it was worst for me . Would have gone again were it not for the long wait ! Then the guys convinced me to go for the Tornado. I went with them half way but when I saw the peple coming down in their tube, it looked a steep fall and I chickened out saying " love you , love you " to shub. I waited for them outside and when they came, had a hard time searching for the car. Were exhauseted by the time we found it, and came home to have a sandwich and sleep. That night had a hard time wearing the earring, and Surprisingly found the earring i THOUGHT i'd lost right in the middle of the floor in the bathroom. Next day just lay around coz of horrid body ache.

The days next month went in practicing for the dance, which went quite good, with the same bickerigns and moodiness and people acting smart and selfish. But since i was pretty much the highlight choreographing, it really picked me up spirit wise. That friday went roaming around with Emy driving. Danny just loves seeing us now thinking whenever we meet, we all go roaming around. We had lunch at Buffalo Wings and then went for cheesecake, to which I drove, quite smartly :p That everning, we met new neighbors, which was qutie awkward. How weird it is meeting some other new people , with different language. It was quite good towards the end. Then next day Saturday, we went for practice, after that lunch at short pump with gola. After that we went out with Durgesh ( who had been a bad pain for shub during his work stint here , not doign anythign he asked of him) , got remote control car, had ice cream. It didn't work, came home, had shawarmas and tabullah ( which I bought from downtown) Sunday day watched movies then re arranged house, putting the sofas along the walls which made the hall even bigger. The next week went in the usual lyring around , practice and no cooking for me. The usual.
