August First weekend.

Didn't do much this past weekend. Friday went to Downtown again with Shub. The music in my mp3 was fabulous and I had good fun playing with the kiddie I saw, as I read the book " Sailing to Capri " After that we went to that mexican place Labamba with had simple, lovely food. On the drive home, Cedrick called saying his father passed away. Went to the grocery picked up panipuri and chat stuff since the ywere supposed to come home. Got wet in the rain on our way to the car. Then drove to their place and played with Danny for a while. Shub helped him make a Fire Truck and then a house with a garage. He was really sweet giving shub credit for making his Perfect house. It was a ironically sad and happy time for us, since emy and cedrick were obviously very upset, busy planning the trip back home and funeral etc. danny was so sweet putting back his grandfather's medictions back in the suitcase even though his mom was tkaing everything out and zipping it up. That evening , we just lazed around and waited for calls. Spent the evening watching movie.

The next morning went for practice after having saadi dal with ghee (first time ) bhindi masala and rice and driving to downtown to drop durgesh ( which we didn't do finally nyways ) . Then went to ced - emy's place and went to Borders for an hour. Practice was ok. After I came home was extra hyper and then cooked Chole Chicken which turned out amazing. Then watched chak de. Sunday we got up , lazed around, had breakfast of cereal, pancakes and cherries and then went for subway instead of mediterranenan( which was closed :( ) and then went for a small picnic to General Shephard's park where there was lovely wind. Evening got scolded severly for bad driving and drove for 1 hour almost as practice on high ways ... 6 - 9 had practice . Everything was normal contrary to the Khusboo - Amrita fued on email / and phone to me coz of practice timings and self absorbtion . How complicated people are !! By the end of practice I was exhausted and shub lovingly offered to make bhurji for dinner, after which we saw Mentalist and Royal Pains along with cherries :) . The day ended with me falling asleep on the couch again. :))
