Sharvi no sleep
Instead of reading a book to her, my little one has taken to telling me elaborate tales before nap/bedtime. Anything to postpone sleep, right ??
As much as I am mesmerised by her imagination, these flights of fancy cost me precious Me Time! 😂😂

10 years
10 years with this amazing, loving, sweet and thoughtful gentleman.
From the moment he gave me my wedding gift-a leather bound diary to encouraging me to start the magazine I was dreaming of to making sure I stay true to myself in everything I do. He always gave me everything I ever wanted without me knowing that I needed it. He's not just my friend or my husband. He's the compass of my life !
He keeps me grounded, lights up my life with laughter and shows me the way when I'm feeling lost. He gave me words and inspires me to be a better me every single day.

2017 - March
They wanted to go playdate, water park but after an hour at pony pastures, they said, ' This is way better. "

Walking along the trail, I teased my son. " If X is your best friend at number 10 and Y is someone you don't like at 1, at what number do you put our friendship? "
He pauses mid stride to consider his answer, hugs me and smiles , " Twenty"
Awwww!! Some days just make you happy to be alive !
One of those days you wake up kind of low and then unexpectedly, awesome things happen for yourself And your venture!! Aarav got into summer camp, two contributors and Victoria agreed to do a piece just for RwC.

Morning chuckee cheese with the kids. Evening at Rashmi's khana and more. Chilling.
Those heart warming moments when my little one tries drawing different things on a paper depending on my answer to her repeatedly asking, "what else makes you happy?!" And finally says, "It's Mother's Day, mama!"
Funny how the little ones make us wonder about philosophical questions like. "What truly makes us happy?!"

Possible elbow/hand dislocation. If she doesn't move she's fine. She you ask her to move, she screams in agony. She wouldn't get out of her car seat.
At the doctors .. waiting. All doctors are at lunch at once 
☹️ Another stressful 20 mins of waiting to get into a room to see a doctor ahead for us. Word to the wise - sometimes when you think hand or arm is hurt can be elbow dislocation. The last time this happened initially we kept icing her wrist when in fact it was elbow dislocation. Please always go to doctor to check .

My 6 yr old says, " I want my own phone. To watch videos and play video games." #notgonnahappen Why is Dora and the City showing elementary age kids having phones ???!!!If I did, THIS is the phone I would give mine lol

I don't know who was happier. Him that Mom came to school during lunch, me to see him in his element at school or his friends who were excited to call out to "Aarav's Mom" as we all played Eye Spy lol

Learning something new is hard enough. But being under the weather with allergies (yes! it's a thing) and fuzzy brained with medication makes it harder still. Of course while having two kids saying "Mom" every two mins adds on a whole new level.

A colorful weekend with amazing friends celebrating Holi and a great themed birthday, my write ups going live across all platforms (and getting a lot of love) AND heartfelt words of encourgament from my friends and family. How lucky can a girl get!!??
After almost a week of being home bound watching my son sick, miserable and bored, tending to him this was the perfect ending of last week. Bring it on Monday !!!!
