Flying balloons

Tears threaten my eyes as Aarav runs for my pink balloon n his red balloon so that we can see them flying on the fan air. How helpless it is to not be able to run and play with him n expecting him to nderstand n still he tries to find ways to accommodate me. Sigh !!

A month more to go n then he will become a bigger boy as we tell him to be quiet n be nice n let mom sleep more. Trying to get him to sleep in his bed. Memories of potty training resurface. Poor baby. It IS surely cozy to have him in my bed ... Specially when daddy stays up late . But the kicking daddy all night is so hard on poorest dad. I remember when Karan uSed to make me punching bag. Hurts !!! :-p

Surprise baby shower

Awesome surprise. I was left holding fruit snacks n looking n feeling exhausted n numb but was great hat shub mom pulled off the secrecy. The decorations were great n the cake was amazing !! Lovely photos

Red lobster

Nice evening shopping at Kroger with mom then dinner at red lobster after Aaravs haircut. Aarav orders @ two cookies plz n eats his full meal n allows us to eat ( for a change ) too. Times a changing. Baby a growing.

Aarav answered most questions his peadiatrician asked n ones he didn't we know he knows of. Colors, shapes , what is your name ( something he just learned is Arrows. )He's grown six inches in the past year, apparently good sign.

And after the apt there is a radical change in him, cannot be pin pointed but definitely existing. He's more communicative, attentive etc

He had his sibling class which he paid attention at n handled the doll baby well n was great during the hospital tour , teaching other kid his profound knowledge of buttons red n blue and shhing me to listen to the nurse ... He even remembered to ask where Nani was during the class.

Mom came n he's surprisingly warm. Being with her , asking her for stuff, playing holi with her , cycling though he may have an inkling mom is outsourcing him coz he super ignored her all morning in favor of me to do everything.

He's a gaseous clay but was courteous enough to wave away the aur with a book n then ask " is that better mom? " hahaha

Yesterday n today he even came into bed to sleep by himself which is kind of progress ...

He's so loving n caring , touching my tummy n asking me to be in photo in holi. He enjoyed this years holi tremendously coloring us n posing for pics.

The super mini planes themed vacation was great where he pretty much was well behaved except when exhausted or Fraazing lolZz which again got him to learn the importance of jacket finally !!

Random updates .., but life is so...

Im getting pampered now that mom is here. Getting all my cravings covered n enjoying the long showers even. We all are finally getting decent food.. Life is pretty good...

Bad day Good boy

Caught Aaravs stomach bug thingi. So yesterday was pretty daunting. But was heartening to see him do some clean up by himself, then re arrange the clean up coz it was in the way then go pp brush quietly though sleep didn't come easy ... Which led to him getting up in the middle if the night to tell dad , " I got oww. Mama did pitti " 😁😱

Sunday funday

Morning driving around In Aaravs pillow car, quiet shhh time, sorting toys. Then afternoon after lunch sat outside as Aarav hunted for treasures n sticks n told dad " good " for finding sticks. Started bossing us around saying , " no coffee for you !! " good doggies sleep "

Laptop Pinch

I sat down with netbook and Aarav brought his laptop saying mom look I have laptop (too) :-))

Yesterday evening as I sat in recliner in blanket , Aarav felt bad his dad didn't have blanket. First he tried putting mine on him, then got him the other one and snuggled in with him.

5th March 2014

Knee gave up on me. Shubham made danda to walk for me, Chaas for acidity n in the morning as I tried to rest my leg, Aarav gave blanket figuring it out when stuck n gave juice instead of water when water was done. Pillow for my back. So blessed !

Snow day

Aarav says , " it's chirstttmas ". When he goes to play says " mama come snow. You want come snow ?? " shares pani puri with me zabardasti. May he always be this loving as he's been in the past couple of days.

Rain

Aarav ran all around the mall in rain b through his first puddle today too :-) shies being wet was a side effect not enjoyed after the jubilation !!!
