Memorial Day weekend.

It's been a month and that's just sad. But I guess recounting the events proves I'm not old yet .. :))
The past few weeks have been eventful. Lets begin with the highlights of the past month.

* Memorial Day Weekend -

We had an amazing time. The first day we went to the diner early in the morning. Had a hearty breakfast and then went roaming around the Three Lakes Park. The walk as really fantabulous, after which we went to Cedrik's place and had blue berry slushes. Then went to Walmart, picked up chicken, vegetables and then came home and prepared sandwiches for break fast next morning and marinate for the sheesh kabab and steaks. By the time I slept was exhausted only to get up with a headache at 6 am for the picnic at Holiday Inn. The way there, we stopped at a rest stop, had the cucumber tomato sandwiches with salt , pepper and cheese and then were on our way again listening to Fundoo indian songs like rang barse and ek bagiyaa... lolzzz.. Once there we had a wonderful time canoeing. Getting in sync was a little tough in the beginning but we finally got into the rhythm and then were flying on water. :D Then we went swimming and had a ball jumping around. Cedrik had a difficult time diving straight. We played some water throwball and then there was this cute, very well mannered teenager who was joking around with us. Over all good fun.

The bad part for Cedrick lost his wallet, it was kept on top of the car and then they had to come back the 30 mins that we had alraedy covered on the way back. Shubham had water in his ears and was hurting immensely so we decided to go home where he proceeded to try everything to allevate the pain. The plan for bbq seemed to be in peril when we decided to try the vinegar thing and it was then MUCH better. Though not too good for he didn't really talk much the whole evening. Bbq was great, the highlights being the seekh kabaabs and the chicken / lamb steaks. The board game after was hilarious with " Awesome " and immense teasing. The night ended around 3 and then when we came home, we slept till 3 pm the next day :)) And hogged on steak sandwiches ... That's when I saw Marley and Me and Passengers. Sad movies ...
