Crosswalk Kindness

My daughter and I stood at a crosswalk and stood waiting for any of the cars to stop so we could cross the road.

A car waited patiently in the next lane with us. The man inside could be seen ranting about how cars are supposed to stop for someone if they are standing at a crosswalk. He didn't have to wait coz none of the other cars had stopped.

When finally all cars had passed by, he waves and smiled at us and told us to go ahead!

Kind people who pause in their day to help you are so few and far between, that they inspire me to be a better me in a world which is out for itself with no time for someone standing on the sidelines, waiting.
